Around 3,500 residents live in the Littlemoor area so I was very surprised to see that only 100 or so have joined Littlemoor Live, our very own social networking website.
If you haven’t done so already go online and take a look at this excellent site for discussions, keeping up with events going on, general chit chat, upload pictures, check the articles for sale or wanted columns or look for trades people that other residents have recommended.
It’s also a great place to find out what’s going on with the Lottery fund.
If you haven’t the time or can’t make it to the Lottery meetings but have ideas and thoughts on how you’d like Littlemoor to change for the better then this is the perfect place to make your comments known.
The Big4Littlemoor committee is now reaching the point where plans for the future of Littlemoor need to be made. Without the input of every resident, young or old, the committee cannot even begin to know what each person would like to see happen.
Littlemoor Live is the place to put forward your ideas and see what other people think, a place to discuss what improvements need to be made so that we all can benefit from this fabulous opportunity to make Littlemoor the greatest place to live in Weymouth.
The more members we have on Littlemoor Live the more we will get to know each other, understand what we want from the Lottery fund and how we can move forward into the future and make Littlemoor a place to be proud of!
And the best thing of all is you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your home!
It’s easy to join, go to www.littlemoorlive.com and become an active part of the community!
In the coming weeks you should see questionnaires in some of the shops, the library, the community hall, Top Club and other locations. Please do pick one up and take it home to fill in then return. It is important that as many people as possible complete these forms so that the Big4 committee know exactly what your visions are for the future of Littlemoor. Then we can begin to move forward and make a big difference to the lives of every single person who lives here.
