This year the concept is The Story Lab, which will exist as a website environment and a 3D cardboard replica given out in the children’s packs. The library will also create it’s own Story Lab.

Don’t Forget the Thursday Craft Group runs between 2pm and 4pm at the community centre off Canberra Road.

If you’re a complete novice at crafting or an expert there’s something to do for everyone.

Take along your own craft projects to share, or just simply get on with your work while having a good natter.

Bring your knitting, your card making, anything you want. And if you have a craft you’d like to share with others, bring that too.

Or you can simply just drop in, have a cup of tea or coffee and have a chat among very friendly people.

Football, whether you like it or not, is one of the most popular games in this country and if you want to be good at it, you need to start at an early age.

With that in mind a brand new activity group, Little Kickers, starts at the community centre on Monday 11th June between 12 and 1pm. For boys and girls from the ages of 2- 4 years this is a great way to get the youngsters interested in sport.

And if there are any unemployed dads out there who would like to learn to become a coach and get their coaching certificate then you are welcome to turn up at 11am on the Monday and give it a try.

Look out for posters in shops and on noticeboards giving further information.
