Couple's thanks for Tearfund help

BRUCE and Maggie Robertson have asked me to thank everyone for their support, which helped them raise the sum of £300 for Tearfund. There is another chance for anyone who missed out on the coffee mornings, for Bruce and Maggie will be at the Steepleton Manor Residential Home on Friday, December 6 from 2pm-4pm, or there is a catalogue available to browse at home.

Village WI marks 60 years

Church packed for Rev Rosemary's send-off

ST MARTIN’S church saw the Winterborne Valley congregation packed like the proverbial sardines at the final service conducted by the Rev Rosemary Bassett, who was assisted by others from the Team Ministry. Mention must also be made of those others who so regularly attend St Martin’s from the Dorchester area.

Weeds - the new goldmine!
