RECENTLY St Martins Church was beautifully decorated for a local wedding with a truly radiant bride.

No wonder the photo shoot seemed to take longer than the actual ceremony.

The scene was really stolen by the smallest bridesmaid & the smartly suited pageboy and was it just coincidence that an ice-cream van was parked within easy access, just like that TV commercial?

All best wishes from the community to the happy couple & a word of praise for those enthusiastic bellringers. I gathered that they were speeding off to ring the bells at another wedding a few miles away.

By the way they are still looking for younger members to join them and what better way to serve the community and build up some muscles too, no doubt.

MAKE a note of the following date when self indulgence can go a long way to helping a good cause, or three good causes - Chikenhata Hospital, Udayan School and Rotary Charities.

This is on Thursday, June 17 when cream teas will be available in the lovely local garden at 1 Hardy Close, Martinstown from 3-5pm.
