Great fun was had by over 70 children at the Royal Oak Halloween party on Saturday, 31st October.

Face painting, scary dancing, finding the eyeball and scary crafty corner were among the activities on offer.

The event raised £105, which the Friends of Milborne First School were delighted to receive.

A big thank you to the Fox family at the Royal Oak.

Following the success of this event, there will be a kids Christmas party on Saturday 19th December.

Tickets (numbers will be restricted) and more information will be available after December 1st.

While we’re on the subject of Christmas, don’t forget the Christmas Market.

It will be in the Village Hall, 12.00 to 3.00p.m. on Saturday 21st November.

Seasonal foods, Christmas cards and presents, plus lots of other stalls. Come along, meet Father Christmas and get your Christmas shopping underway!

WINTERBORNE WHITECHURCH

THE Real Craft Christmas Fair is back!

This year it will be on Sunday 22nd November in the Village Hall and School Gym, Winterborne Whitechurch.

The fair will be open between 10.00a.m. and 4.00p.m., admittance – adults £2.

There will be over 30 stalls of genuine crafts – handmade local pottery, glass, ironwork, cards, candles jewellery, silk scarves … and much, much more!

Pick up some original and affordable Christmas presents, or just come along for a look.

Light lunches, tea, coffee and cakes will be available. Stall fees and door profit will be donated to Julia’s House Childrens Hospice.
