The Waterside Art Group is held at the Park Community Centre every Thursday from 10 until 12 Noon. The Group will be continuing all the way through the Christmas Season, with no days off for good behaviour!
Group Leader & local Artist, Angela Forrest says she has been so busy recently she has been unable to pick up a paintbrush and is determined to paint her way through Christmas and The New Year! So, if you too, want to come along and explore your artistic talents you would be more than welcome. It does not cost anything to come along and have a look. If you like what you see, each future session will cost £2.00 per person. Materials are provided for first timers.
The Group are not restricted themselves to just Art though as they also enjoy a social calendar with a Christmas Meal/Get Together already booked up and no doubt there are other events in the pipeline for 2013.
So if you want to find a way to express yourself artistically or would like some advice or help (on an artistic problem), or just want to come along and paint, draw, sculpt etc in a social environment this could be an ideal place for you. The class currently attracts both Men & Women, and they find it a lovely setting to talk about their art works, hopes and dreams.
