John Hutton - Volunteer and Forum Committee Member would like to publicise the Community Quiz Nights.

The first Community Quiz Night of 2013 takes place on Saturday January 19 at 7pm. Everybody is welcome,  you don’t have to have a team of your own just come along  by yourself and get made into a team on the night! It only costs £3.00 per person/ quizzer and this includes light refreshments as well. If you feel that  your grey cells would benefit from a bottle or two then you are welcome to bring your with you, just don’t forget the glass and corkscrew or bottle opener. There  is a prize to the winning team of £25.00, runners up don’t get anything apart from a round of applause for being almost good enough to win the £25.00. The quizzes are set by volunteers so there is no  regular questions or themes being set. If you were given a book on gratuitous knowledge this xmas, you now have enough time to read through it, commit those facts to memory and come along to the next community quiz night.
Following this the second quiz night will be on Saturday February 23 at 7pm, same conditions apply.
