ONCE again the Mayor Paul Kimber will be joining members of the Luncheon Club at the Railway Tavern, in Queen’s Street for a Christmas lunch.

The Luncheon Club meets the first Wednesday of the month at various pubs and restaurants in the area.

ON Thursday, December 2, at 1pm the Forum will be getting together and decorating the Park Community Centre.

If anyone has any unwanted decorations please bring them to the centre before then. Also, if you are available to help on that day please come along.

ON Saturday, December 4 the Forum are holding a Christmas Coffee Morning at 10.30am.

Lots of Christmas goodies on sale with mince pies, tea and coffee.

Our Grand Draw tickets will be on sale for a home-made Christmas cake, hampers, bottles of wine and many more prizes. Who knows, some of the “Waterside Singers” might lead everyone in some carol singing!

TICKETS are going very well for the forthcoming show “Christmas in the Park” at the Community Hall, Chelmsford Street, which is on Saturday, December 11 at 7.30pm.

Rehearsals are well on the way, and its looking like a great night out, and a “not to be missed” event.

Entertainers Ray Banham, Juno and Mathew Cornick will be joined by the Waterside Singers, GwellC Dance Crew and some young dancers from the PDY Youth Club to put on a good Christmas flavoured night out.
