St ALDHELM’S Church Mothers’ Union members are holding a ploughman's / pancake lunch on Tuesday, February 16, noon-1.30pm.

This is in aid of the overseas relief fund and takes place in the church lounge.

A JUMBLE SALE is to be held at Radipole United Reform Church in Spa Road on Saturday, February 20, 2pm-4pm.

Admission 20p and refreshments will be served.

LOCAL schools and churches are raising funds for the Haiti appeal.

So far, over £1,200 in St Ann’s and St Aldhelm’s has been raised and the collecting continues.

AT the end of last term, Radipole School’s Ofsted inspection report stated that particular strengths of the school are “the personal development of all pupils and the high quality of care, support and guidance.

The school's partnership with parents is outstanding, with over 90% returning the questionnaire and all expressing a high degree of satisfaction with the school and their children's experience. Pupils clearly enjoy school and what it provides.”

This is a healthy eating and physical activity programme which has been designed specifically to be delivered to children through schools, with parents playing a vital part in helping their children to develop healthy eating habits and a physically active lifestyle.

SOUTHILL School PTA has been renamed.

FOSS stands for Friends of Southill School.

This means that families, friends and local residents who are interested in supporting the fundraising efforts of the school can now join this association.
