Puddletown

  • CHRIS McKenna, vice chairman of the Dorset Lupus Group, tells me that October is Lupus Awareness month and asks you all to put this date in your diaries:

On Friday, October 22 at 7pm at the communal hall, the Rodhill centre, Rodhill Close, Puddletown, we will be holding an event to raise awareness and raise much needed funds to help with research into finding a cure for this devastating disease, Chris adds.

I know that we are all dealing with belt tightening in the current economic climate but it would be great to come along, give a little but gain a lot.

Maria Darling will be displaying her Shoes-Glorious-Shoes, boots and bags from across Europe.

We will also have beautiful handmade jewellery at affordable prices so why not start your Christmas shopping early!

Pimms and nibbles will be thrown into the mix so come along and enjoy.

If you have friends or relatives who might be interested, please bring them along.
