A big thank you goes to all the helpers who worked so hard, and everyone who came along to support it.
The event made a profit of £190, and Sue Jeanes tells me that the club will soon be sending off another £1,000 to Help for Heroes.

If you are aged between six and 16 years and are interested in singing, dancing or acting and having fun you could be part of the coming summer show.
This is called Over the Rainbow, and will be staged on Saturday, June 25 at 2pm, and again at 7pm.
The show will be in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
Rehearsals are on Thursday nights from 6pm until 8pm.
If you would like to come along, or would like to talk the idea through, contact Alison on 01929 472023.
This award is not given lightly; in fact this is the first time it has been awarded to a member of Bere Regis scout group, and is believed to be the first time it has been awarded in the Wareham and Isle of Purbeck district.
Two choices of soup will be served with bread and butter and a cup of tea or coffee, and the lunches are in aid of Christian Aid.
If you need transport, or a wheelchair pusher, please contact church warden Sarah Welton on 01929 471562.
