• THE FRIDAY Club at Dorset Close are holding a Christmas Bazaar and Tombola on Saturday, November 29 starting at 1.30pm.

Admission is 25p and will include a free cup of tea. Admission for children is free if accompanied by a parent.

There will be a shopping trip to Boscombe on Saturday, December 6. Details of the trip are on the notice board in the centre.

Christmas dinner is on Friday, December 12 at Dorset Close at 1pm.

The next table top sale and tombola will be held on Saturday, December 13 at Fiveways.

The proceeds of the Tombola will go to the blind club.

The last event for the year will be a Christmas Bingo on Friday, December 19, eyes down at 6.30pm.

• A FUNDRAISING night will be held on Thursday, December 11 at 7pm at Alf’s Fish and Chip shop and will include singing around the Christmas tree.

Conifers school will benefit from any funds raised.

The school will also benefit with 50% of all monies raised from the raffle at the chip shop.

The raffle at the chip shop will be drawn on Saturday, December 21.

The committee would like to thank John and Karen from Alf’s for their kind support and the help they give them is greatly appreciated.

• THE NEXT Westham Community bulletin is due out soon.

These are delivered all over the area of Westham by a few people.

The area starts in the Littlesea estate right down Chickerell Road as far as Markham Avenue and right the way down Abbotsbury Road and the roads on both sides up to Westhaven and Knightsdale Road.

The bulletin is printed on two pages of A4 paper so is not very heavy.
