Spring Clean

• ON SATURDAY and Sunday, March 28 and 29 there will be a spring clean on the town green.

At the recent Westham Community Meeting (COPS) it was decided to use that weekend to have a good clean up of the open spaces in the area of Westham.

Anyone interested in lending a hand with litter picks, please meet at the Town Green near Markham Avenue at 11am on Saturday, March 28 or outside the Fiveways Centre at 11am on Sunday, March 29.

It is hoped to recycle any suitable rubbish that is collected.

If people cannot help with the litter picks just picking up any rubbish immediately outside their front gardens would be beneficial in tidying up the whole area.

• FURTHER congratulations go to Ryan Hope who has now got through to the final seven of the CHANGEit awards which are being held on Thursday, April 30 in London.
