A Wool couple, Ann and Richard Collier won the annual Beetle Drive organised by the Wool and District Cancer Research UK group for the second time.

This Beetle Drive, which has been played for the last five years, took place in Winfrith Village Hall together with a fish and chip supper, a raffle and guess the polar bear’s birthday.

John Draisey of Winfrith won this bear, and thanks for the generous donation.

It was a fun packed evening, sold out weeks before, with John Yonwin as the games master ably assisted by Helen Evans, a whizz at adding the scores up. A grand total of £574 was made so thanks to all the people who helped make the evening a success.
