- DESPITE a disappointingly cloudy sky toddlers at this month’s ‘Toddler Praise’ event at All Saints, Wyke, spilled out into the church grounds as planned to let off steam and celebrate God’s gift to them of life and energy. They were aided by the grown-ups, a brightly coloured parachute and a large ball.
Toddler Praise services are held at All Saints Church on the first Wednesday of each month. These are open to any tots and accompanying parents so why not pop along with your little ones and join in the fun.
- UNDAUNTED by the doom and gloom of the current economic climate lots of local people turned out to support All Saints’ Summer Fayre and gave so generously that over £1500 was raised at the event.
- MEMBERS of Westham Methodist Church, Newstead Road, are staging their summer fayre on Saturday, July 17, from 11am to 3pm.
There will be cream teas, stalls, fun, balloons, games, produce, cakes and the opportunity to learn how to make puppets and try other interesting craft ideas.
All are welcome.
