Lido 93: Haltwhistle Open Air Pool

The very friendly reception staff greeted us. The lady pool supervisor quickly organised a lane for us and we were able to swim our mile unimpeded by other swimmers. The café area overlooking the
pool looked particularly inviting afterwards if only we had time. We swam our 64 lengths of this 25-metre pool in good time. When we left the centre, the pool staff was very generous thrusting notes
and coins into our collection box. One young lifeguard said he was impressed with our swimming, which gave us a big boost.
