Soul singer Mica Paris has joined police in appealing for an end to shootings in black communities after the death of her own brother. Jason Phillips was gunned down in Shirley on Valentine's Day this year.
The 31-year-old pop star launched the appeal last week in conjunction with the Met Police's Operation Trident, which tackles black-on-black gun crimes in the capital.
