A RECENT feature on Holy Trinity School in Looking Back stirred up memories for several former pupils.
Bill Hall, 82, of Southill, brought in a photograph of himself in Holy Trinity Infants in Class III in 1932.
Bill, who is sitting directly behind the little boy holding the sign in the photograph, can remember the names of two thirds of his classmates, but the ones he pointed out were John Squibb to the right of him, and Roy Mullins sitting behind John Squibb.
He pointed out Nelson Smith on the far right of the second row and recalls the surname of the boy holding the sign as being Phillips.
“I think it must have been Easter because you can see Easter chicks in the display at the back,” said Bill.
