CAN anyone help a reader from Ireland find out details of his family?
Patrick Scanlon from County Cork is looking for relatives of the late Margaret Cornelia Scanlon, who lived in Pottery Lane, Weymouth and died on July 7, 1986.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Daniel Patrick Scanlon, a retired coastguard and formerly of the Royal Navy, who died on April 5, 1955, at No 1, Coastguard Cottages, Wyke Regis.
Their daughter was one Frances Mary Scanlon, who married Reg Carter.
Patrick believes Frances died as a result of a car accident on February 10, 1980.
He writes: “I would be delighted to hear from any relatives of Reg Carter if they are still in the Weymouth area.”
