CAN YOU HELP?: The mystery group in Richard Smith’s photograph
READER Richard Smith from Dorchester has been in touch about this picture, which he submitted last month and which ran in Looking Back on December 13.
He was initially wondering if anyone could shed any light on the picture and the men featured.
Richard has since been in touch with further information.
He said: “I have had a comment to suggest the mystery photo of the group of people on the bus type vehicle may well have been taken inside the workshop of Crabb and Co. Motors Dealers and Engineers in Crescent Street, Weymouth.”
He wonders if any readers had family members who worked for Crabb and Co. Motors dealers in the 1920s in Weymouth and who may be featured in the picture.
So far we have drawn a blank, but there must be someone out there that can help Richard in his quest.
