THE Dorset Echo has teamed up with Camp Bestival and Wessex Fm to give all budding artists in the area the chance to take part in our first ever Battle of the Bands competition and win the opportunity to perform live on stage at Camp Bestival 2009 at Lulworth Castle and Park!
Lots of acts entered and the public cast their votes and now the six bands with the most votes will go through to a live final to be held on Friday 10th July at the Electric Palace in Bridport. Judging the final will be a member of the Camp Bestival Team, Toby Granville Editor of the Dorset Echo and Mr James Weld from Lulworth Castle and Park.
You can be at the Dorset Echo Battle of the Bands final at the Electric Palace. The line-up features The Fourquits, Kalinsky, Me And The Moon, Memories of the Future, Bebe and Paolo and Ballistic.

The winning act from the live final will then go through to perform live on stage at Camp Bestival!
