ASHLEY Palmer-Watts, group executive head chef of Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck group, will be attending the Dorset Knob Throwing and Frome Valley Food Fest, at Cattistock on Sunday May 4.

Ashley, who heads the kitchen of the two Michelin starred Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, will be one of four highly skilled chefs that will be demonstrating at the event.

Originally from Dorset, Ashley’s passion for cooking is rooted in his love of the countryside and his respect for the exceptional produce of the UK.

His creativity, eye for detail, and his extensive research of British ingredients and culinary history have enabled him to create Dinner by Heston Blumenthal’s unique menu of historically inspired British dishes and oversee the development of the group’s other restaurants.

Other well-known and highly accomplished chefs will also be demonstrating at the event including Somerset Chef Jean-Paul De Ronne.

Lee Moreton from Dorset Charcuterie entertains with his Ready Steady Cook demo and Jack Mackenzie from the Acorn Inn in Evershot will also be demonstrating.

The festival takes place from 10am to 4pm and admission is £2.50 with under 12s free. See dorsetknobthrowing.com
