WEST DORSET: Take a step towards organic vegetables this weekend.
This month is Organic September and as part of the celebrations, and to try and encourage people to try organic fruit and vegetables, Goldhill Organics are running a guided farm walk.
The event will be take place on Saturday from 10am to 2pm at their facility at Gold Hill Farm in Child Okeford. Visitors will be able to look round, see how all the vegetables are grown and learn about organic produce from their guide.
The company has been growing organic vegetables there for more than 25 years.
Jane Somper of Goldhill Organics said: “Organic produce really does taste better and we’re hoping to encourage people this September to take the step and try organic produce.”
