TAKE a step into the secret kitchens of Dorset and the South west with a new book.
The secret seeker series has just released new title Secret Kitchen: Southwest England, which covers all your foodie needs from Bath and Bristol right down to Penzance.
Aimed at keen foodies, the guide book is designed as an insider’s guide to some of the region’s best-kept gastronomic secrets.
From elegant restaurants and back street bistros to farmers’ markets, quirky cafés and local delis and bakeries. So whether you fancy traditional cream tea, Cornish pasties and homemade cakes, or lobster risotto, smoked beer rarebit and home-cured gravadlax, there’s something to satisfy every appetite.
The book has been compiled by local researchers and there are 130 recommendations.
Among the entries in Dorset is vintage tearoom Reloved in Dorchester, Aroma in Lyme Regis and cookery school Panary in Shaftesbury.
