Warm up Valentine's night with an Absinthe dinner at The Larderhouse

IF chocolates and roses are too cliché for you, The Larderhouse will be putting on a special event to warm your cockles on Valentine's night.
The Southbourne Grove eaterie will be hosting the first Absinthe dinner to be showcased in the UK with an evening entitled Absinthe Makes The Heart Grow Fonder.
The event is the fifth showcase for the artisan foods specialist, following on from their popular sherry, offal, port and single malt whisky nights.
Guest speaker Alan Moss, who is behind The Real Absinthe Blog, will be on hand to introduce curious diners to the potent beverage and discuss its history.
The showcase night will feature a six course meal, where each course has been married to a libation containing absinthe.
The reservation only event starts at 7pm with places at £45 per head inclusive of all food and drink.
