Description:
Marmite, cheese and potato topped meat and vegetable pie.

Ingredients:
Minced Beef or Lamb
Beef or veg stock cube
Potatoes with skins left on
Cheddar
Carrot, peas, onion
Salt and pepper
HP sauce, worcester sauce, tomato puree
Marmite

Method:
Chop onion and brown mince in a little oil Make up stock and add to pan.
Add dash of sauces and small amount of puree to flavour. Add flour to thicken if desired.
Cube carrots and microwave in butter. Add to pan with juice.
Add other chosen vegetables. Frozen peas add to the colour. Season to taste. For an extra kick add chilli powder.
Spoon meat mixture in to oven proof dish Boil potatoes with skins on and mash with butter. Roughly spread on top of meat sauce.
Spread a layer of Marmite ontop of potato using a fork. Gives a nice ridged look and texture. Cover with slices of Cheddar.
Brown for 15 minutes in oven 200degrees until golden brown.
Serve hot for a high fibre tasty variation on an old traditional favourite. Toby loves it!
