THIS month’s hip hop theme promises to satisfy those looking for a party night of classic MC beats and scratch as part of the monthly Hi-Life club nights at Bridport’s Electric Palace.
Contraband Breaks Ensemble are a top drawer high energy band, who with two MC’s, promise to create a party atmosphere at the Electric Palace on Saturday January 25.
Their continuous medley of golden era hip hop has been likened to bands such as Breakestra and J5.
Since supporting Arrested Development in 2011 the band has been in great demand, not least for their rotation of high quality MCs from Bristol's club scene.
Line up includes drums, bass, keys, guitar, scratch DJ and two MCs.
Live music starts at 11pm, followed by DJ sets by local boys DJ LA, Lewis Ahmet and The Napkins. £5 on the door.
