Folk sensation Tom McConville brings blend of styles
A PREVIOUS winner of BBC Folk Musician of the Year, Tom McConville has been praised by music lovers, professional musicians and critics alike.
Recognised as having a remarkable and extraordinary sound, this musical virtuoso will be appearing at the Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis tonight.
Blending traditional music from his hometown of Newcastle with Irish, American and Scottish influences, he creates a sound that has jazz, folk, bluegrass and classical influence.
Fast rhythmic dance tunes mix with beautiful slow airs and great singing – all presented with his inimitable sense of humour and style.
