Sherborne Chamber Choir set to celebrate giants of choral music
SHERBORNE Chamber Choir’s next concert on March 15 celebrates some of the finest choral music written in the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries.
The concert, at 7.30pm in Sherborne Abbey, includes music by Parry, Brahms, Mendelssohn and Bruckner.
Tickets are priced from £5 to £16, with students under 18 free and are available from Sherborne TIC in Digby Road, Sherborne, 01935 815341, and The Dorset Music House in Cheap Street on 01935 816332.
The choir is currently recruiting tenors and basses. Any singers interested in auditioning should contact the choir via its website sherbornechamberchoir.org.uk where there is more information.
