THE Thomas Hardye Singers are set to perform with world-leading students in Dorchester.
Students from the Dorchester Area Schools Partnership will be performing along with students from Imperial College, London, in St Mary’s Church, Dorchester, on Saturday, October 25.
The Thomas Hardye Singers are made up of singers from Thomas Hardye School, St Osmund’s and St Mary’s Middle Schools. They will be singing and playing along with Imperial College’s award-winning orchestra in a wonderful programme of great classics.
This unique concert, performed by students ranging from 11-year-olds to university post-graduates, promises to be, once again, one of the musical highlights of the year. Included in the programme are Fauré Requiem, Tchaikovsky with the Nutcracker Suite, Dvorak with Carnival Overture and Peter Hope with Tall Trees The concert starts at 7.30pm.
