MULTI-PLATINUM selling singer, saxophonist, producer and songwriter Curtis Stigers, is ‘hitting the road’ on the back of the release of his new album Hooray For Love.
He will be performing at the Regent Centre, Christchurch, on Tuesday, February 3 from 7.30pm.
Since first appearing on the music scene in the early 90s, he has had hit songs which have become soul classics, had a song on the soundtrack of the huge movie The Bodyguard and recorded and performed with Eric Clapton, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker and George Benson.
Curtis Stigers has also received numerous awards such as the London Times Jazz Album of the Year, Jazz Artist of the Year by BBC Radio 2 and Best International Jazz Singer and an Emmy nomination.
