AN EXTRA Weymouth concert featuring Tom Jones’s guitarist has been scheduled due to popular demand.

Robbie McIntosh will now play at the Old Town Hall on February 20 as well as the original sold out date of February 21.

The former Pretenders member and session guitarist will be playing with Ken Watkins and now, 27 years later, the pair are back for the two gigs at the hall in High West Street.

The shows promise to be an informal night with a diverse set of songs, reflecting their mutual musical interests, as well as plenty of banter and good humour.

There will also be a guest appearance by singer Lucy Watkins.

Robbie has played with Paul McCartney, Norah Jones and John Mayer.

Tickets are £10 and limited to 70, so ring 01305 837299.

There is no bar in the venue, but people are welcome to bring their own drinks with glasses will provided.

Robbie and Ken will be selling their CDs on the night. The gig begins at 8pm.
