Pussycat Dolls sets to send winter temperatures soaring

THE Pussycat Dolls are set to send temperatures soaring this winter when they bring their Doll Domination tour to Bournemouth.

The girl band will perform their chart-breaking hits and super-hot dance moves across the UK in the New Year.

Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Kimberley Wyatt and Ashley Roberts will be singing tracks from their recent album Doll Domination which debuted in the top five in the UK and US last month.

They will also be performing hits from their debut seven-million-selling PCD album. Meanwhile the Dolls’ release single, I Hate This Part, in December.

The tour plays the BIC on January 25 and tickets go on sale today.

Sharleen Spiteri’s debut solo UK tour will also include a date at the Bournemouth International Centre on Friday, February 6, 2009.

The tour comes hot on the heels of the former Texas singer’s debut solo album Melody which went straight into the album charts at No 3, and has already been declared Gold for 100,000 sales.

The release of Melody has seen Sharleen back in huge demand with performances on a range of massive UK TV shows from Later With Jools Holland to the Andrew Marr Show, via Graham Norton, the Charlotte Church Show and Transmission.

The debut single All The Times I Cried received a Neilson award for over 10,000 plays on UK Radio, including a coveted Radio 2 ‘A’ playlisting. The 2009 tour will see Sharleen perform tracks from Melody for the first time, along with a few Texas classics and, as always with Sharleen, some musical surprises – all delivered by one of the best and most distinctive voices in British music.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £27.50 from the booking line on 0844 576 3000.
