ADDICTED and friends are staging a massive fundraising club night in memory of the late DJ extraordinaire Vinyl Richie at Club2XS in Bournemouth tonight.

Popular Richie passed away a few months ago and organisers are hosting the event in his memory to raise cash for his partner Abbie and their baby Lexi.

There will be two rooms of top artistes – including DJ Carlos, Twista and Danny Francis – playing Richie’s favourite genres of drum and bass, hardcore, hard dance and electro.

Entry is £5 all night and all door proceeds will go to Richie’s family to help give his daughter Lexi the best possible start in life.

• SOCIAL Focus is back at Dusk Till Dawn in Bournemouth tonight to launch its new monthly residency.

DJs including Commix, Natural Frequency and Judda will be serving up some of the freshest drum and bass in the Funktion Room.

And Blink Soundsystem and Planar will be hosting upstairs with their selection of beats, bleeps and techno.

Tickets are £3 and the doors open at 11pm.

• AND Dusk Till Dawn plays host to popular club night Everybody Be Cool once again tomorrow.

Sicub, Dan Orchard, Adam I, Melv Starr and Billy Casper will be taking to the decks for the dirty electro house, funk and classics extravaganza.

Entry is £5 on the door – or £3 if you can get hold of a pass.

• IT’S 100 per cent hardcore time for Total Explosion over at Empire Club in Bournemouth tomorrow night.

A mouthwatering line-up including the likes of Slide, Exalt, Danny Rapid and funksters Mr Harry and Marc Van Enden has been assembled for the Prosperity Records event. With a superb soundsystem on offer, this is one not to be missed. It will cost you £3 before 11pm or £5 after.
