Shaftesbury Orchestra’s winter concert features two works by classical composers at the peak of their powers: Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto and Brahms Symphony No 4.
The soloist for the Violin Concerto is Piotr Kopec, well known for his sparkling performances.
Piotr was born in London, grew up in Bournemouth, led the Wessex Youth Orchestra and went back to London to study at Trinity College of Music under Diana Cummings.
The concert is at 7.30pm on Sunday, December 8 at Centenary Hall Port Regis School, Motcombe. It is free but there will be a collection for Stour View Day Centre.
