DATES have been finalised for the Lyme Folk Weekend in 2015.
It will take place a week earlier than last year, from Friday, August 21 to 23.
Last year’s festival brought music and dance to crowds of visitors and residents, as performers took to the streets, pubs and seafront, filling the resort with the sound of music.
2015’s festivities will be even better, promise the organisers.
They will be using their tested formula of blending young, new emerging talent with some of the finest folk acts in the country.
Julie Sheppard, the festival’s publicist, said: “We’ll be announcing 2015’s acts in the New Year but you won’t have to wait until August to get your Lyme Folk fix – because we’re planning a one-off surprise in March – which no one will want to miss.”
She said details of this would be revealed very soon.
