The Britain’s Got Talent final was a rather tense one which saw Jules O’Dwyer and her super-dog Matisse crowned the winners, racking up just 2% more of the public’s vote than magician Jamie Raven.
Jules and her talented Border Collie performed an incredible cops and robbers sketch which appeared to feature Matisse tottering across to parallel tightropes – but just this morning a huge bombshell was dropped: the stunt was performed by a doggy double.
The impressive act was actually carried out by Jules’ other Border Collie Chase (we met him in the semi-finals) and, needless to say, people are pretty furious about it.
Many admitted they’d felt cheated after voting for the talented duo, as they had no idea Chase had performed the tightrope stunt. In fact, he didn’t even grace the stage with Jules, Matisse and the three-legged Skippy at the end of the performance to the explosive rounds of applause.
While angry viewers are calling for Jules’ to be stripped of her Britain’s Got Talent victory, £250,000 prize and spot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance, others didn’t see the big deal.
The debate rages on…
