Ariana Grande has finally brought her globe-trotting Honeymoon Tour to the UK – helped by some giant clouds and swinging chandeliers in a larger-than-life spectacular.

But don’t be fooled by all the theatrics – because behind that Ariana is actually a pretty good singer with a four-octave vocal range that places her among the likes of iconic singers Whitney Houston, Julie Andrews, Leona Lewis and Cyndi Lauper.

The 21-year-old pint-sized pop star kicked off her UK dates last night at London’s O2, with upcoming gigs in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham plus the Capital Summertime Ball at Wembley.

And if you haven’t already seen Ariana’s extravagant show, here’s what you can expect. *Spoiler alert.*

1. There will be lots and lots of cat ears

With a visual style that’s instantly recognisable, Ariana’s manga-inspired look will most certainly be the dress code for the evening. Be prepared for cat-ear headbands of all colours, shapes and sizes.

2. The show will open with an explosive Bang Bang

Okay, there’s no Jessie J or Nicki Minaj, but that doesn’t stop Ariana from whipping up a killer performance on stage.

3. There will be pink and glitter banners to welcome the pop princess

The only accessory worth having (apart from cat ears, of course) is a banner that’s effectively a declaration of undying loyalty for the Break Free singer.

4. It’s a place where you will meet other Arianators

And if you don’t know who Arianators are (and shame on you!), then we strongly suggest you look it up on Urban Dictionary asap.

5. Ariana will descend in a giant cloud like a petite modern-day angel

Forget Miley Cyrus and her wrecking ball – that’s so last season and almost bordering on inappropriate. Clouds are the new cool thing and hopefully you’ll see Ari on one while belting out ‘Best Mistake’ and on a huge chandelier for another hit ‘Right There’.

6. At one point, the venue will look a bit like this

Arianators have the power to turn a bog-standard arena into something quite magical with their smartphones – you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’re looking at a galaxy of stars from outer space.

7. And Ariana will look like a celestial goddess

We can’t get enough of her gorgeous lilac drape skirt beautifully embellished with florals as Ari sings in a mist of rising dry-ice smoke – it’s like going to gig heaven.

8. You might spot a few shirtless dancers

You know, after you’ve run out of eye-catching props like floating clouds and chandeliers. And of course, no-one’s complaining.

9. There will be undies on the merch stand

Er, WHAT? They sell for £25 a piece, in case you’re interested.

9. And this is how Ari is travelling across the UK

You might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the pop star and her crew’s massive tour buses.

10. You’ll know Ari’s in town when you see THIS on the roads

And yeah, you might spot one of these on the motorway. We don’t think it’s for her private car park.

11. Odds are high you’ll bump into a celeb

Music mogul Scooter Braun and 1D’s Niall Horan? Ariana’s gigs are pretty much a celeb-filled paradise.

12. Big Sean WILL be there, at least in spirit

They are no longer a couple now but that didn’t stop Big Sean from performing at Ari’s O2 gig. Okay, they didn’t physically share a stage together but Ariana performing duets (‘Best Mistake’ and ‘Right There’) with an on-screen version of her ex BF is actually pretty sweet, unlike another fellow mega-talented contemporary artist who writes songs about her exes.
