THEY may have started life as Tulisa’s little muffins but the Little Mix girls are already more successful than their X-Factor mentor could ever dream of.

The 14th date of the girls’ massive Salute tour saw them fill the BIC’s Windsor Hall with screaming fans last night.

Such a hysterical welcome is usually reserved for good-looking boy bands but this lot seem to be an exception to the rule despite one of them being engaged to One Direction’s Zayn Malik – surely a reason for teenage girls to cry rather than scream.

The show – nearly two hours long – got off to a flying start with Salute and the hits and high energy dance routines just kept coming.

From the moment they descended from the roof to the numerous costume changes and confetti, the sell-out crowd loved every minute of the party.

The largely-female audience knew every word to DNA, Move, Word Up and Little Me but they saved their finest voices for the encore, featuring Good Enough and Wings.

Ever since Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Jade won X-Factor in 2011, they have appealed to both male and female fans and have a style that kids can copy without looking like mini adults.

And there will be plenty of bleary-eyed little girls in school this morning after such a fantastic night out.

This tour is a huge 34 dates long with shows in the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada but if Little Mix are getting tired, they certainly didn’t show it.
