THE ladies certainly have a soft spot for Peter Andre.

But whether it’s for his musical skill, his toned physique or his loveable, reality TV persona is a subject for debate.

There’s no doubt that the fans at the Bournemouth International Centre last night (Friday) were enjoying his more grown-up selection of songs.

Rhythm, Blues and Swing, backed by an impressive 10-piece band were certainly a departure from the pop days of the past.

And who doesn’t love a cover or two from Stevie Wonder and Pharell?

But it was still his most popular hit Mysterious Girl that drew the biggest cheers, despite its UK release being a whopping 18 years ago.

A lot of these women were besotted teenagers in the early days – now they swoon over his daytime TV appearances.

The Big Night Tour is a huge 24 dates long and it’s all but sold out. There are few people who include the Royal Albert Hall and Butlins Minehead on the same tour, but this is Peter Andre and he can do what he likes.

It was an upbeat, entertaining show and a great start to the weekend.

As his loyal fans trooped out of the Windsor Hall, grinning from ear, it was clear they’ll be there next time because he’s a nice bloke and it’s good fun.
