Bournemouth was the 3rd stop of the 25 date tour and with more glitz, glam, and glitter guns imaginable; the night was an endless list of highlights.

Here are some of the best moments:

1. When Fleur sang Uptown Funk

In the live shows this performance took Fleur straight to number one in the UK charts, and her performance last night proved why.

Uptown Funk was the penultimate song and had everyone on their feet.

Fleur opened the night with Can’t Hold Us and was clearly Queen of the show with other great performances like All About that Base and Thriller, which involved a the iconic red MJ suit, zombie dancers, crosses and headstones.

2. Every time Stereo Kicks graced the stage

Each time the eight piece boy band appeared on stage, they were met by the younger members of the audience’s passionate cheers and homemade banners.

The lads, aged between 15 -21, captured the female audience attention, with some loudly declaring their love.

The boys surprised their fans at the beginning of their Halloween version of Everybody by appearing in the middle of the crowd which sparked a frenzy of screaming and photo taking.

3. When the canon exploded at the end of Bang Bang

The show had the full package from great singing, to performance and special effects.

The pyrotechnics kept the audience involved throughout the show, with fire shooting rucksacks and smoke machines.

At the end of Fleur’s performance of Bang Bang a huge canon fired smoke causing the entire audience to jump and laugh.

Fleur and her dancers were fierce and unaffected by the loud noises and were confident in their dancing.

4. When the whole audience got involved in a Frozen sing-a-long

Everyone joined in for a good old fashioned sing-a-long when Lauren Platt took to the stage to perform Let It Go, the song made famous by Disney’s Frozen.

With the lyrics on the big screens, every voice could be heard belting out the words in true karaoke style.

Angelic Lauren didn’t need the dancers or effects during her performances; her voice was powerful enough to mesmerise the audience.

The youngster stood alone as she sang slowed down versions of Happy and How Will I Know with ease, and her rendition of Don’t You Worry Child was enough to bring a tear to your eye.

5. Witnessing a Stevi Ritchie performance in person

Bournemouth Echo:

Need we say anymore? The loveable singer, brought back as a wild card on the show, was very love or hate throughout his time on the live shows.

Stevi was a great performer, which was evident from his dancing that he loved being on stage.

Even though he may not have had the best moves, he wasn't afraid to give the odd leg kick, hip thrust and body shake.

Stevi was raised into the air at the start of Bohemian Rhapsody to the amusement of the crowds. Livin’ la Vida Loca was a colourful performance and had everyone laughing. The comedic singer had his top buttons undone, potentially in homage to his mentor Simon Cowell?

6. That time Jay James channelled his inner James Bond

Emerging through huge doors projected with massive flames in a sharp tuxedo, Jay James could easily have been mistaken for the famous spy as he stepped out to perform Adele’s Skyfall.

The talented star added a personal twist to the song, hitting the final note with the spectacular power to provoke a crowd-wide burst of applause.

Jay James’s first appearance in the show treated the audience to his version of Changing by Paloma Faith and saw everyone joining in.

7. When Only the Young remixed Jailhouse Rock and Twist Again

Although aged between 17-20, Only the Young selected older songs rather than recent hits.

Their song of the night was a Jail House Rock and Twist Again mash-up giving the 50's and 60's song a modern vibe.

The band was the only group at last night’s event that were a group before entering the competition and this was evident through their chemistry.

8. When Andrea thanked us all in Italian

Cutest moment of the night is awarded to the loveable Andrea Faustini.

The singer, who finished third in the competition, had everyone's hearts after he thanked us in his native language, 'grazie', after his final solo performance.

The Italian singer performed; Listen; I Didn't Know My Own Strength; Chandelier; and Earth Song, many of which induced goose bumps.

9. That time Ben Haenow’s entered the stage for the first time

The atmosphere was incredible before 2014's X Factor winner took to the stage for the first time.

The crescendo of music paired alongside the traditional red and blue flashing X Factor lights created anticipation from audience goers causing them to scream, stomp, and cheer.

Steel drums began to play as fire shot from the stage making for a memorable entrance.

10. When Ben smoothly sang Ed Sheeran on guitar

After the excitement of his entrance had simmered down, Ben Haenow decided to take the audience on a sentimental journey.

He performed Thinking Out Loud using chords he had learned from Ed Sheeran, the artist he had duetted with during the live finals of the show.

Every audience member joined in with the chorus and the line “darling I will be loving you ‘till we’re 70” was sung in (almost) perfect unison.

Ben’s ability to engage with the audience continued into the winner’s song Something I Need when he was able to get everyone dancing, singing their hearts out and waving their phone lights in the air.

Ben melted everyone’s hearts when he changed a line in the song to “I wanna live in Bournemouth” and told his fans they were “the best audience we’ve played to so far”.

11. That time they all sang together

The show had a great finale with all artists (and the audience) performing Take That's Never Forget.

The finalists had great chemistry and were clearly enjoying their experience, giving high fives and singing to one other on stage.

The artists also interacted with the audience, singing to them and making eye contact.

Ben Haenow commented upon the intimacy of the BIC and Fleur was able to wave at her sister sitting in the audience, allowing the show to close on a very personal level.
