BRIGHTLY dressed and a blast-from-the-past for nineties kids, S Club 7 proved a popular success when they performed in Bournemouth.
Jo, Rachel, Hannah, Tina, Bradley, Jon and Paul were lively as ever, 12 years after going their separate ways before reforming for a performance on Children in Need and then this UK arena tour and stop at the BIC.

Tracks from their back-catalogue of greatest hits that they performed for the mixed-aged crowd included Reach for the Stars, Bring It All Back, Never Had A Dream Come True and Don't Stop Moving.

Every song proved an opportunity for those who grew up, or were around in the nineties, to have a sing-a-long and it was a personal reminder that this was one of the last bands whose songs I bought on cassette tape.
@BradleyMcIntosh @SClub7 you all were incredible last night! #childhoodmemories pic.twitter.com/odLpOrFbym

Each of the seven members of the group had the chance to perform a solo to show off their talents and collectively they'd worked hard to learn each dance routine for the corresponding track.
@SClub7 Thank you for last night!<3 #BRINGITALLBACK2015 #sclub7 #SClub7Tour #BIC Amazing time at the @BICPAV <3 pic.twitter.com/3neWcR6QLj

Highlights of the show included their entrance through trap doors under the stage, star confetti falling at the end of Reach for the Stars and Jo's powerful solo vocals, which still make everyone stop and listen.
Throats hurting, legs aching and ears ringing. All the signs of a brilliant night @SClub7 #BRINGITALLBACK2015 pic.twitter.com/XOVULTYv8m

On a personal level, it was great to see a band looking as good as ever, some 15 years or so after they first shot to fame and could only dream of seeing live onstage as a child.
@SClub7 so good last night #SClub7Tour #sc7tour #Bournemouth pic.twitter.com/2N65ayL2vc

They changed outfits numerous times and unlike some acts that have taken to the stage at the BIC, the guys and girls made an effort to keep everyone entertained and having a good time. There certainly ain't no party like an S Club Party.
