IT must always be difficult to stand onstage and tell a room full of people that you're a psychic medium.

But what Psychic Sally lacks in cold, hard proof of being able to contact relatives and loved ones, she makes up for in her warm and fun personality, which radiates towards the audience during her show at the Pavilion Theatre.

During the show, she stands in front of a huge screen, which shows close-ups of audience members that she is speaking to, filmed by a camera on the side of the stage.

I have only seen one psychic medium show before and while they are very similar, this show featured many more members of the audience trying desperately to draw links with what little bits of information Sally Morgan said onstage.

While some readings drew several matches with a person, with others the links were strained. Sally is one of the most famous examples of this line of work, having her own TV shows and books, and claims to have had the ability to contact the dead since a young age.

Sadly, she will never be out of a job as people will inevitably lose loved ones throughout their lives and I do feel that these shows build up people's hopes of contacting the other side.

This is no more apparent than when the lights came down at the end and the star of the show said that they had run out of time. Many faces dropped at the prospect of missing out on hearing from the person they had in mind.

However, judged solely on entertainment value, Sally keeps your attention from the start to the end, as friends look at each other as she magically conjures up these details about loved ones and ask themselves how she did it.
