ALICE IN WONDERLAND AND THE JUNGLE BOOK

DORCHESTER YOUTH THEATRE, DORCHESTER CORN EXCHANGE

DYT Juniors took their audiences on the weird, wonderful, wacky adventures of Alice and her friends as she travelled through Wonderland.

This well-loved classic by Lewis Carroll, performed in the Corn Exchange, was told entirely through rhyme, both by the Narrator and by Alice and friends.

The Juniors played all our favourite characters: the continually bickering Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Mad Hatter (who lived up to his title) and his two friends the Hare and the Doormouse, the formidable Red Queen and all her cohorts.

The cast impressed their audience massively, bringing to life this canon of literature in a show that amused and entertained.

I was amazed by the professionalism, creativity, hard work and talent of the DYT Intermediate Company in their production of ‘The Jungle Book’.

Their ability to bring the much loved stories to life with so much vibrant energy and fun was so refreshing.

The whole performance from the fantastic set, to the acting through to the costume was brilliant and the performance was a real pleasure to watch. Well done all.
