TAKE Me Out star Paddy McGuinness left his Bournemouth audience in stitches and wanting more on Saturday night.

In an evening of belly laughs at the Pavilion, the new dad recounted some of his more stomach-churning experiences of raising toddler twins.

The toilet humour tone was set early on as he stumbled across unsuspecting Sam, an 18-year-old audience member, who he set about schooling on the perils of parenthood.

"You'll leave here wanting a vasectomy," the northern charmer warned the youngster.

Most of what followed is not fit for repetition in the Echo, but McGuinness reminded us that he's not just a happy-go-lucky Saturday night matchmaker, he's got a razor sharp tongue comparable with some of the biggest hitters on the UK comedy scene.

Those expecting non-stop "no likey, no lighty" may have been left disappointed. This was the Phoenix Nights bouncer back to basics and at his raw best.

Refreshingly down to earth, occasionally shocking and a master of transforming the normal into the brilliantly bizarre, McGuinness was on scintillating form and proved yet again why he's become a national treasure.
