HOT on the heels of a complete sell out UK and Australian tour, comedian Katherine Ryan, hits the road with another terrific comedy show, Kathbum - a must see for your 2016 calendar.

An onslaught of celebrity abuse opened the show at Weymouth Pavilion with Taylor Swift, Cheryl Cole, Peter Andre and Bill Cosby all in the firing range.

The celebrity swipes are brutally brilliant as she impersonates the 'nation's sweetheart' Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and talks of the Twitter spat between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.

Her jibes at the former Mrs Cole and Swift are something she continues throughout the show and are relentless.

Ryan then took the audience back to her Canadian hometown and told them why she had been so desperate to escape.

Comparing herself to Joan Rivers, Ryan also focused on her upbringing and her relationship with her sister Joanne and Joanne’s upcoming wedding.

Revealing her relationship and dating woes and the embarrassing situations her six-year-old forces her to face, Ryan has the audience in the palm of her hand.

She wasn’t afraid to look back at things that had gone wrong in her career, such as a badly received gag on Mock The Week that subsequently resulted in a Twitterstorm of death threats.

Ryan’s cynical but brilliant personality is what makes her a success and a definite must-see comedian.

In the end, Ryan ties together the show in a practice maid-of-honour speech she intends to make at her sister’s wedding.

If it goes ahead anything like this trial run, she is unlikely to ever be invited back to her Canadian hometown.
