The most popular man in Britain popped into the BIC tonight and he certainly bought the party with him.

Peter Andre must have played Bournemouth four or five times in the last few years and his loyal fans have been there every single time.

Despite also seeming to be one of the busiest people around constantly touring or on the telly it seems that the fans want even more.

Bournemouth Echo:

The show started with three upbeat covers including Pharell’s Happy and the crowd was immediately on its feet and dancing setting the tone for the majority of the evening.

The rest of tonight's show was a journey through the twenty-five years of Pete’s career from Bobby Browns' Every Little Step, which gave him his first break, to his most recent New Orleans Jazz influenced numbers and Swing tunes.

The mainly female crowd loved all of the material tonight but saved the biggest reaction to Mysterious Girl that was played with just a jazz piano backing and sounded at least as good as the original (thanks to Mr Andre senior).

The seven-piece band and two backing singers were excellent and had a real big band feel about them. The stage set up was well thought out and perfectly lit.

Bournemouth Echo:

You have got to admire the fact that as an artist he is not just playing it safe by rewriting hits from twenty years ago but is instead dedicating large parts of tonight's show to covering his Hero's from Frank Sinatra to James Brown and Michael Jackson as well as his own new material that is a million miles away from his poppy output from all those years ago.

At over two and a quarter hours this was certainly value for money and just to end the night on a high he played Mysterious Girl again but this time as it was originally intended and the party started all over again.
