‘So how do I get to Dorset again?’– that was the text sent from Made In Chelsea star Francis Boulle to Katherine Butler, owner of Waterston Manor near Puddletown, less than an hour before his planned arrival in the county.

Despite being picked up from the Dorchester train station by a woman he didn’t know and her two starry-eyed teenagers, the laid-back reality TV star and entrepreneur appeared in good spirits.

The casually dressed 24-year-old said: “I am a laid-back person but I get stuff done and that’s the important thing.

“I love coming to Dorset, it is a beautiful county.”

Francis headed to Dorset from his home in London in support of a group protesting against a wind farm proposal near Tolpuddle.

The committee of Taint – Tolpuddle against Industrial Turbines – hosted an open day at Waterston Manor to urge more people to support their stance and raise funds for the campaign.

“I met Katherine at a house party in Austria where she told me about the campaign she was involved with and invited me to the event,” the TV star said.

“I am passionate about beauty and I am against wind farms being built and spoiling beautiful surroundings.

“While there is profit to be made through wind farms I am passionate about the countryside and we should all be conscientious about the people who live around here and their landscape.”

Made in Chelsea is a reality TV show set in the Chelsea district of London and follows the lives of several young affluent socialites.

Francis’ visit to Dorset comes after his fellow cast members paid a visit to Portland last November.

He said: “I actually have many friends in and around Dorset and if I have time I love to visit.

“Everyone here is always so friendly and welcoming.”

When asked whether he really gets along with his cast mates, he said: “Well I obviously don’t like all of them but I do live with Jamie and Proudlock and we have a great time together.

“I recently got talked into throwing a party while they were away and the place got trashed.

“We don’t get angry with each other though.”

Despite not seeing each other that much due to their hectic lifestyles, he added that the trio always made time for each other.

With filming for the latest season of the BAFTA award-winning show is now complete, the young entrepreneur said he was looking forward to a break.

The dramatic finale aired across the globe earlier this month.

“You know at school when you have a list of things you want to do, well I’m working on mine now the cameras have stopped rolling and will be taking some time for myself,” the TV star added.

Francis’, who spent his childhood travelling the world through his father’s business ventures, is avid polo player, skateboarder and surfer.

He attended The Oratory School, in Berkshire, England and went on to read Philosophy and Economics at the University of Edinburgh.

After leaving Dorset and his wind farm concerns behind, he headed to Devon to visit a friend.

He said: “I will try to come back to Dorset soon.

“The whole area surrounding Tolpuddle is so beautiful.

He added: “If anyone is having a Dorset party let me know and I’ll bring the boys down.”

Francis’ first book, Boulle’s Jewels, hit the shelves in 2012 and focuses on his own lessons learned as a young entrepreneur.

Made In Chelsea is mainly shot in areas of Belgravia, the Kings Road and Knightsbridge as well as featuring other exotic locations such as Dubai, Finland and the south of France.

The show is aired in countries including Australia, Ireland, Holland, Germany and Denmark as well as the United States.

Following a recent filmed trip to Portland cast member Louise Thompson took to the Twitter website to say she’d had a ‘big weekend in Weymouth’ and told fans: “Wish I was back in Dorset with the Made in Chelsea gang.”
