Ben Stiller is set to guest star on the upcoming series of Arrested Development.

The Tropic Thunder actor will reprise the role of Tony Wonder - who he played in seasons two and three of the show - when new episodes of the cult comedy are streamed on Netflix in May.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Ben will play the magician in one instalment of the series.

It has already been reported that Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Conan O'Brien and former Home And Away actress Isla Fisher are set to appear when the show is revived.

Arrested Development ended in 2006 after three years.The hit show, which starred Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi and Will Arnett, centred around the dysfunctional Bluth family, in the style of a reality TV show.
