Sorry doesn’t seem to be the hardest word for rapper Azealia Banks.
She has penned a sorry letter to former One Direction star Zayn Malik after she launched a foul-mouthed Twitter tirade against him earlier this year.
At the time, Zayn responded to her on Twitter writing: ”@AZEALIABANKS why you been saying nasty things about me? I wasn’t talking about you lol.”
Now Azealia, who is not on Twitter anymore, has said sorry to Zayn and published a long letter.
In the letter posted on Facebook and Instagram, she begins by stating: ”There are no words that can fully express how sorry I am. Recent events have taught me the importance of taking accountability for one’s actions. I want and need to say I am sorry, I was wrong.”
She ends the letter saying she thinks Zayn is “enormously talented” and wishing him “success, love and happiness in all your personal and professional endeavours”.
Zayn hasn’t yet responded to it, but his fans are mighty happy about it all.
Azealia recently also made headlines following an alleged altercation involving Hollywood actor Russell Crowe.
